Layer & stack

Jewelry is most personal when it is built in layers — a fine chain at the collarbone, a knot ring you never remove, hoops that frame the face. This is how we style The Knot: three principles, three looks, and the pieces to build each one.

Layer & stack

Three principles

Anchor, then add

Every great stack begins with one anchor — a choker, a signet, a hoop you wear daily. Build outward in weight and scale so nothing competes.

Mix metals with intention

Gold and silver together feel modern when the proportions are balanced. Let one metal lead and the other accent — never fifty-fifty.

Leave room to breathe

Negative space is part of the design. A bare finger, an open wrist, or a single chain at the neck often says more than a full stack.

Collarbone layers

Look 01

Collarbone layers

Begin close to the neck with a choker or short chain, then add a longer fine chain so each line sits at a different level.

The Knot bridge necklace anchors the look — pair it with delicate hoops and a bracelet that catches light at the wrist without overpowering the neckline.

The ear stack

Look 02

The ear stack

Start with one hoop at the lobe — your everyday anchor. Add a smaller stud or huggie higher on the ear only when the first piece feels settled.

Mix gold and silver rings on the hand to echo the ear: one sculptural knot, one fine band. Keep the face uncluttered; let the stack do the talking.

Hand stack, everyday

Look 03

Hand stack, everyday

Rings are the most intimate layer — they move with you. Stack two or three on one hand, mixing widths and metals, but leave at least one finger bare.

The Knot ring in vermeil pairs beautifully with bridge rings in gold and silver. Add a bracelet on the opposite wrist for quiet balance.

Start with one piece you love. Add the next when it feels inevitable — not when the calendar says so. That is how a GHALIA stack becomes yours.
