HOW GHALIA IS MADE
Every piece we create takes an entire year at the minimum, from design to development to your door. Follow the journey of your Missoma jewellery.
1.The Design Process
It all starts with a spark of inspiration we find it interesting. When we find it, we start sketch, refine, and perfect each design until it captures the perfect balance of artistry and meaning. Each curve and angle is thoughtfully considered until the design feels just right.
2.Creating CADs
After the initial design is has been agreed upon, we translate inspiration into precise digital designs, ensuring every curve and proportion is perfected before creation begins. Using 3DCAD’s, we birth digital life to our sketches.
3.Making A Mould
Once the cad is printed, we form a custom mold—the foundation that will shape your jewelry’s unique features. Here where we see things go real for the first time
4.The Wax Tree
where different variations of wax is injected into the mould, creating delicate models that are carefully arranged into a wax tree. As if we have a family of delicate wax pieces being prepared for casting in solid metals
5. Casting & Filing Our Pieces
Gold and silver is getting into here. The metal is poured into moulds in our casting machine. then each piece is hand-cut getting ready for gold plating perfection step
6.Assembling & Setting
Components come together here through expert craftsmanship, its all about attention to details where we dress and perfect our jewelry, with stones and components set to maximize their brilliance.
7.Gold Plating
We are pioneers of demi-fine jewelry, our experts at micron plating do plate luxurious 18k gold vermeil that don’t only elevates the luminous and shine of our pieces yet further set an exceptional durability and rich, warm tones that stand the test of time.
Our 18k gold vermeil are micron plated with more than 2.5 microns of 18k gold plating on sterling 925 sviler not braas. None of our gold piece are “flash plated” or “dipped” or color toned- they have a thick 18k gold layer to ensure GHALIA quality that lasts and stands out the time
8.Quality Control
Finally every piece go through a detailed inspection and tests—because what bears our GHALIA name must meet our highest standards. Only when it passes all 12 quality checkpoints does it earn the GHALIA signature.
HALLMARKED FOR QUALITY
Our sterling silver pieces (that weigh over 7.78g) are stamped with '925' to certify their authenticity. 925 sterling silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper.
We also hallmark allof our solid gold pieces with '585' for 14ct solid gold to certify its purity.
