WITH CRAFTSMANSHIP IN OUR HEART
After more than 100 years on the way, craftsmanship is part of our essence. We can’t imagine doing things differently.
Over time we have added the latest technology to our jewelry tradition to take this profession that we respect and love so much to the next level and to continue creating pieces that last over time and are passed on from generation to generation.

At Ghalia,
All our pieces end up going through an average of more than six pairs of hands.
They are artisan and expert hands, those of the jewelers who have accompanied us since our beginnings and with whom we have been growing and innovating.
We combine ancient artisan techniques with the latest technological tools to cover all areas
of jewelry expertise, from diamond setting to polishing parts or casting.
Our artisan team not only participates in the production and creation process, but also masters the art of restoration.
We can thus guarantee an excellent after-sales service that makes it possible for jewelry to last
for generations.

A SOCIAL AND
EDUCATIONAL PROJECT WITH A SOUL

Our Commitment to Sustainability and Training
Through this project, we can pass down the value of restoring and giving jewelry a second life to future generations. This is key in our industry, where sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Because we create pieces that are made to last and work to ensure they do through our restoration techniques.
Through a global professional training program, Ghalia cooperates with leading international jewelry trade schools to contribute to training the hands of future artisans. Its high-quality academic program combines theory and practice with the extensive industry experience of Ghalia. It also connects students with the job market, promoting practice in a renowned professional environment and generating actual employment opportunities. Since 2018, it has impacted 270 students, taught circa 20,000 training hours, and approximately 200 hours of practice.
A PROJECT THAT BELIEVES

IN JEWELRY AS A CULTURAL ASSET
We defend craftsmanship and, more specifically, jewelry, as a cultural asset.
We want to publicize and share with society the knowledge of the technique and the excellence
of Ghalia.
IN THE REVIVAL OF THE JEWELRY MAKING TRADE
We promote craftsmanship as a mode of professional training. We train the next generations of jewelers through excellence, recovering a historic trade and promoting savoir-faire.
IN INVESTING IN TALENT
We are committed to talent and promote it through professional development and innovation.
THIS IS HOW IT WORKS
01
Agreements with Collaborating Schools
We have long-term agreements with the best national and international craft and jewelry schools. At the moment, they are distributed between Spain, Mexico, and Portugal, and the intention is to grow until reaching all the countries in which Ghalia is present.
02
Presentation of Candidates
Each school submits to Ghalia the candidacy of two of its best students to enter the program. To participate, students have to be part of one of the collaborating schools.
03
Selection of the Participants
A selection committee deliberates on the candidacies and selects the project participants in the different workshops based on their performance, academic excellence, and affinity with the values of Ghalia.
04
Training Begins
Once the participants have been chosen and, in accordance with the professional training, the training begins at the Ghalia headquarters in Manresa or at its external centers and workshops.
05
Digital Training
Since the pandemic, the school digitized its resources to offer an online format of the same quality and, thus, open its doors to more students.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN WORK ENVIRONMENTS
The agreement is based on Vocational Training in Work Environments, a learning modality within professional training that combines teaching in the educational center with learning in the company. Thus, students acquire a solid professional experience that broadens and improves their specialization before entering the labor market. To certify the agreement, the students, the company, and the training center have to sign a training and learning contract at the beginning of the course.
